What you can do right now to kickstart your modelling career

The world of modelling can feel daunting when you're first starting out, we totally get it. But, if you're keen, there are few things you can do straight away that will help you get started.

1. Start practising posing + catwalks

If you're serious about becoming a model, then you're going to need to know how to pose and catwalk! Very conveniently, one of the best ways to improve these skills is to practise them at home. Need some inspo? Check out our TikTok!

2. Detox your socials

You might not know this, but having a professional social media presence is really important if you want to become a model. Most agencies/brands will check out your socials before offering you a contract. So, we would recommend jumping onto your profiles and getting rid of anything that isn't quite in line with the personal brand you want to project. Want to know more? 3. Take some digis

Digis are extremely important for ALL models, no matter if they're just starting out or have been in the industry for years. Basically, they are images that show you looking your beautiful natural self. The good thing about digis is that you can take on your phone, so you can take them right now if you like. 4. Do your research

There are so many different paths that you could go down in the modelling industry, so it's important that you know which ones interest you. Most importantly, it's a good idea for you to think about whether you'd like to try and find an agency or instead take it on yourself as a freelance model. If you're interested in signing with an agency, consider researching modelling agencies in your area!

5. Apply for a CGM event
