CGM Talks - Self-love and becoming a curve model

Like many of us, Caitlin's journey with her body has been one that's been consistent throughout her life. Though she's always considered herself to be a confident person, she's found that she's struggled with loving and accepting how her body looks - mainly because of the lack of representation of her body type within the media and common fashion labels.

After deciding that she wanted to embrace her body and make a positive impact within the industry, Caitlin began to explore the world of modelling. Then, after attending a CGM event in 2019, she was scouted and signed with CGM and Bella Management and has since worked for brands such as Lorna Jane, Saint Somebody, and Capriosca Swimwear.

Talking to Caitlin serves as a timely reminder that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and that what matters is not the number on our pants, but more way we feel about ourselves.

Since letting go of her own insecurities Caitlin feels stronger, happier and more beautiful and is empowering other women to feel the same. Thanks to models like Caitlin, the modelling industry is beginning to embrace all shapes and sizes - and with this, the walls of beauty norms are starting to break down.
